This privacy policy explains what happens with your data when you visit imagemetaai.com and when you buy or use the Image Meta AI WordPress plugin. It is written in plain language because privacy is boring if the person reading it gives up halfway.

What this website collects
imagemetaai.com is a static marketing page. We do not use analytics, we do not set tracking cookies, and we do not collect personal data about visitors.
The only browser storage we use is sessionStorage with two keys:
imai_launch_dismissed— remembers that you dismissed the launch banner for the current tab session.imai_ambient_on— remembers that you enabled the ambient sound, so it can be restored visually when you switch language.
Both values exist only in your own browser. They are never transmitted to us or any third party. Closing the browser tab clears them.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard web server access logs for security and troubleshooting: IP address, requested URL, HTTP status code, user agent, referer, and timestamp. These logs are retained for a maximum of thirty days and are never used for analytics, profiling, or advertising. Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in operating and securing the website).
Payments
Purchases are processed by Polar, who acts as the merchant of record. When you buy a licence, Polar collects the data required to process the transaction, issue an invoice, and handle taxes in your jurisdiction. Their privacy policy: polar.sh/legal/privacy.
We receive from Polar only the information necessary to deliver your licence key and handle refund requests: your name, email address, the purchased tier, and the transaction ID. We store this in a private database for the legally required retention period (seven years in most EU jurisdictions for tax and accounting records).
What the plugin does after you install it
Image Meta AI runs entirely on your own WordPress installation. It uses your own Anthropic API key to communicate directly with Anthropic's Claude API. Neither imagemetaai.com nor any server operated by us is involved in plugin runtime. We do not see, proxy, log, or store any images, alt texts, prompts, or completions. Your API traffic goes straight from your WordPress server to Anthropic.

Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, request a portable copy, restrict processing, and object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@imagemetaai.com.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we handle data, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where required by law, notify affected users directly.

These terms govern your purchase and use of the Image Meta AI WordPress plugin sold by MALUR Ltd through imagemetaai.com.
Licence
Image Meta AI is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later), the same licence WordPress itself uses. You may use, study, modify, and redistribute the plugin under the terms of the GPL.
The purchase fee is for the delivery of the plugin, the lifetime update channel, and bug-fix support, not for restricting your GPL rights.
Reselling policy
The Image Meta AI plugin code is licensed under GPL v2 or later and may be redistributed under GPL terms. However, license keys, software updates, bug-fix support, and the "Image Meta AI" name and branding are proprietary and may not be resold, redistributed, bundled into paid packages, or offered on third-party marketplaces without our written permission.
License deactivation
We reserve the right to disable license keys that exceed activation limits beyond fair-use thresholds, are shared beyond authorized use, or are offered for resale. Disabled keys are not refundable, except where required by applicable law.
14-day money-back guarantee
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee that applies to all tiers (Solo, Studio, Agency). If Image Meta AI does not work for you or you simply change your mind within fourteen days of purchase, email contact@imagemetaai.com and we will refund your payment in full. No questions asked, no forms, no conditions. Your license key will be deactivated upon refund. This guarantee goes beyond any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
Purchase and tiers
When you buy a licence, you pay a one-time fee for a specific tier: Solo, Studio, or Agency. The tier determines the number of production sites on which bundled support and lifetime updates apply. There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges.
Updates
Every licence includes lifetime updates delivered via the WordPress auto-updater from our private GitHub repository. Updates include bug fixes, security patches, compatibility with new WordPress and PHP versions, and new features where applicable.
Bug-fix support
Bug-fix support is included in every tier. If the plugin crashes, returns incorrect output, or fails in a reproducible way, email bugs@imagemetaai.com with reproduction steps and a screenshot and we will fix it.
Support does not include: installation help, WordPress troubleshooting, custom prompt engineering, context brief writing, or consulting on your specific hosting environment. The on-site documentation and in-plugin help cover those topics.
Your API key and usage costs
Image Meta AI does not include any Anthropic API credits. You provide your own API key and pay Anthropic directly for usage. We have no insight into and no control over that billing relationship. Anthropic's prices and rate limits apply.
Warranty disclaimer
The plugin is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the plugin will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce any specific results. You use it at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the plugin is limited to the amount you paid us for the licence in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the plugin after an update means you accept the updated terms.
